Lane Atkins

was with the Miami agency Caravetta, Allen and Kimbrough when it was acquired by BBDO. He served as Creative Director for over two decades, as the agency evolved from a general market agency with US centric clients to become a multi-lingual international agency and member of the BBDO Worldwide Network. BBDO Miami created marketing and advertising for an array of well-known international brands building business in all three Americas.

Work for Visa, FedEx, Pepsi, Discovery Networks, Qualcomm, and Apple crossed many boarders to reach targets in their native countries. Simultaneous productions in Spanish, English and Portuguese for these clients were more common than not.

In 2003 Lane formed Purple Marketing. He and Gonzalo continued to collaborate for clients marketing their wares to US general market and Hispanic consumers, as well as to Latin Americans. Clients include Flor de Caña Rum, Panama Tourism, Royal Caribbean International, Mercy Hospital, Duracell, Gillette and The Regent Hotels.
